Trainee Financial Planning Analyst
James began his career in financial services when he joined Prosperity Financial in 2021, having graduated from the University of Glasgow earlier that year. He initially joined the University to study Physics and Astrophysics but later transitioned to a degree in Mathematics and Statistics before graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Statistics.
He joined Prosperity with the goal of becoming a qualified financial adviser and is now studying towards achieving the Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute. Upon completion of the diploma, James plans on continuing his professional development as he hopes to achieve Chartered Wealth Manager status in the future.
Outwith work, James splits his time between his family, friends and his love of sport. Having recently moved to Glasgow from the coastal town of Ayr, James loves to keep active and enjoys being outdoors, whenever possible.
